For organisers

You’ve been guessing what your best table is worth. Stop.

The Bid runs a live auction for your VIP tables. You set the floor. The room sets the price.

A packed event room seen from behind a speaker, every table taken by seated guests under rows of warm filament bulbs.
A full room on the night. The photograph is illustrative and is not of an event listed here.

You stop guessing

Set a floor you’d genuinely accept and find out what the front row actually clears for. Most organisers discover they’ve been pricing their best inventory at a fraction of its value. Unlike every fixed price they’ve ever set, this number is measured rather than hoped.

The money is handled

Bidders authenticate a card before their first bid. At close, the winner is charged automatically, funds land in your Stripe balance, and payout reaches your bank three days after the event. No chasing transfers, no absorbing no-shows.

Buyers get in without knowing anyone

Every table, every price, every deadline, in the open. The person who values the table most gets it, rather than the person who messaged first.

The questions organisers actually ask

“What if nothing sells?”
Your minimum bid is your floor, and it’s binding. Set it at what you’d have charged anyway and your downside is the price you would have got. Everything above it is money you weren’t going to see.
“My buyers won’t use an app.”
They won’t install anything. They tap a link, sign in with their email, and set one number. The people paying €5,000 for a table already buy everything else this way.
“My promoters won’t like this.”
Bring them in as ambassadors. They get attributed commission on every table they source, tracked automatically, instead of margin they have to negotiate for. The ones who bring real buyers earn more, not less.
“What if someone bids and doesn’t pay?”
Every bidder authenticates a real card with 3DS before their first bid, and the winner is charged automatically at close. If a charge fails they get a fixed window to fix it, and after that the table rolls to the runner-up at their own maximum.
“Isn’t this going to annoy my regulars?”
Your regulars currently compete with each other in your DMs, without knowing it, and the loser finds out by being told the table’s gone. This is the same competition, in the open, with a fair result.

How it works, commercially

You are the seller. The Bid runs the auction and takes payment on your behalf, and our commission comes off the top of each table that sells. We are never the merchant of record and we never hold your money. It lands in your own Stripe balance and pays out to your bank.
